Returns and Reprints
Please be sure to read and understand these policies prior to placing an order. By placing an order you are agreeing to these policies.
While our mission is to produce high-quality realistic reproductions, we understand in the real-world that not all is perfection. If there is any specific problem with an order please use the contact form and include your order number and the reason for contact. We strive to respond within 2 business days in most cases, though in some instances, and for complex requests, internal review may be performed, and this may require several more days for a response. If a return or refund is to be issued, you must mail back a 3-inch-by 3-inch cutout from the center of the printed image as well as a 3-inch by 3-inch cut out of the area in question. For images sized 12”x16” and larger you must cut out and mail back a minimum of five 3-inch by 3-inch squares from the print – one from the center of each of an even 4 quadrants of the print, and one from the affected area. No refunds or reprints will be issued without Katy Color Labs being in receipt of the cutouts from your image. We do not pay for return shipping costs for these cutouts. We ask for cutouts this size, because they can be mailed in a simple envelope for the cost of a stamp.
No refunds will be issued for any shipping charges either to or from the customer in any scenario.
We are nor responsible for any costs or expenses direct or implied greater than the cost of the original print. This is defined as the actual dollar amount on the invoice for the print in question. No refunds or reimbursement can be made greater than the original paid purchase price. No refunds will be made for the coupon difference for discounted products or sales – the refund maximum is the amount actually paid for the product and applicable taxes, excluding shipping costs.
For prints where the customer requests reprint with color adjustments, we will only reprint one time. After a reprint, we will not offer any refunds. Prior to a reprint, we must be in receipt of the cutouts described above. There are no exceptions to the cutout policy.
We will never refund an amount greater than the original purchase price of the print in question. As above, for refunds, there are no exceptions to the cutout policy. If your package is damaged in transit, you must note this with the shipper at the time of receipt to start a carrier claim. No package or carrier claims can be processed if you have not notated this with the shipper at the time of delivery. There are no exceptions to this policy. Katy Color Labs is not responsible for damage in handling or shipping. Any such claims must be settled with the carrier.
